In my community, we focus not on diagnosing, but being EDUCATED on how to TAKE ACTION as individuals in our daily lives against a variety of systems (schools included) which are not designed for freedom of diverse thought.

I will GUIDE us as we LEARN - together - about how the Government and Law really works, in practical terms.

I will DISCUSS how we should challenge the status quo and Overton Window shifts we have witnessed exposed.

Come, join me - and our community - on this adventure!

Templeton Board of Assessors: Details

In the lead up to the election in 4 weeks from Monday (time is flying!), I thought it would be in the best interest of my community members to know: What is an Assessor? What can the Board of Assessors do?

An Assessor's, "primary responsibility... is to accurately and fairly assess all property in the Town of Templeton at full and fair cash value."

The Board plays a role setting the tax rate and deciding whether it be split or a joint tax rate AFTER the voters set the amount to be appropriated at Town Meeting. "The Assessors do not raise or lower taxes. Taxes are assessed in an amount sufficient to cover the State and Local appropriations chargeable to the Town... The tax rate is simply the rate that will provide the funds..."

This all comes from the Town of Templeton's page on "Duties of Assessors," (https://www.templetonma.gov/board-of-assessors/pages/duties-of-the-assessors) and from material through the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers (https://maao.org/).

The members of the Templeton Board of Assessors are as follows:

  • Mr. Bradley E. Lehtonen, 2022
  • Mr. John L. Brooks, 2023
  • Mr. Fred C. Henshaw, 2024

Under the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, the duly qualified Assessors of a municipality may appoint any number of assistant assessors, that may or may not be compensated for their services, for a term of up to one (1) year, which may continue for an additional year after such appointment if no additional appointment is made to their office upon the expiration of their one (1) year term as long as they have not been removed by the Assessors. This power is clearly enumerated in Chapter 41, Section 25A of the General Laws.

The Templeton Board of Assessors vests certain authorities and responsibilities in a Deputy Assessor appointed annually, who oversees an Administrative Assistant in the office.

See the organizational chart as follows on this post.

Attached is also a sample agenda from a meeting of the Templeton Board of Assessors and the Minutes from that meeting.

Please DM me on here or on Twitter with any and all questions! I love the opportunity of a challenge to help me learn my duties and help engage you in this Community!

Community Updates 12/27/2021

Hello Everyone!

It has been a "quick" minute since anything has happened. After a while of settling into work and finishing some stuff during the end of this year, I have time to dedicate to working on this community and adding new content.

Here are few things to keep watch for that will be Locals Exclusives moving forward:

  • Grave American Podcast every Sunday (New Year's Resolution is to actually follow that plan moving forward).
  • My adventures learning shorthand
  • Latin Lessons
  • Me finishing up projects (New Year's Resolution)
  • FAIR, Inc. Updates
  • Random materials

Nothing immediately upcoming will be made for paying members of this Community, but stay tuned for updates of what may happen on the horizon!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year in 2022.

The Grave American (Episode 005) - Cynical Theories, Actively Unwoke, FAIR FOIL Request Updates, New Projects, and NRSD School Committee Vacancies Update!

In this latest episode, I talk about my recent purchase of Cynical Theories by the legendary Helen Pluckrose & James Lindsay, along with my pre-order of Actively Unwoke by Karlyn Borysenko. Both will be used in a new, free Locals Exclusive video series titled "How Social Justice Is In Your Town: An Argument to Defund Public Schools," where I use the words and actions of local Massachusetts school districts to explain, in simple terms, how public schools cannot be saved from the cult of social justice (as they are already deeply infested), and how they should be held to account through 1) Leaving, and 2) the only thing Superintendent's understand: budget cuts, budget cuts, and Budget Cuts!!!

I also talk about the progress (or rather, lack of progress due to it being a waiting game) on my FOIL requests to the State of New York regarding Bion Bartning and FAIR, Inc.

Included is a discussion about how new projects I am involved in will be disclosed in the near future, and other stuff going...

The Grave American (Episode 004)

Hello Everyone!

As I promised, I recorded another episode to compensate for my lack of consistency these past couple of weekends.

In this latest episode, I do a quick recap of the events happening with regards to FAIR, Inc. (although not a full debrief), and I go into a brainstorming session about my frustrations being a part of the anti-CRT and unwoke sphere, and what I believe we need to start thinking about in the coming days.

Special thanks to @wenmark413 for pointing out we do not have unwoke human resource platforms or talent searches. That needs to be discussed and we need a plan of action to fix that!

The Grave American (Episode #004)
The Grave American (Episode 003)

A very out of date (we're talking October 12th) posting of the Grave American Podcast (a Locals Exclusive).

In this, I hint at the concerns of whistleblowers in FAIR, and my concerns with ARP ESSER funds (that I later did a stream on with Karlyn about), and so much more.

I'm also going to record and post something later today as well, because I have totally been slacking on social media over the past week, and there are a few things we (as a Locals Community) need to discuss...

OUT NOW! 052 Updates & Thoughts

I am back in the saddle! New video out on my channel now!

In it, I cover recent public events, and review a single plank of a local political candidate's state-wide platform where I discuss the importance of:

  • Identifying the correct problem to have a chance at creating a valid solution, and evaluating all obstacles to such a solution fully and appropriately.
  • Knowing how the government works. Specifically, who/what appropriates money.
  • Understanding how to negotiation like your life depends on it, and the critical importance of creating winning situations for your position.

Special shout out to WAM Stained Glass for the Crazy Bird & the Glass Wings Dragon!

Also to WokeScreen for my new pen bag.
